Will these rods find gold, oil, minerals, ghosts, etc.?

Dowsing rods are to a dowser as a hammer is to a carpenter. It's the carpenter who builds the house, not the hammer. It's the dowser who causes the dowsing tool to react to gold, oil, etc. not the L-rod.

Which dowsing rods should I buy?

The Spanish L-Rod is all brass and has swivel guides built into the handle so it doesn't flop around as the pointer swings. Looking at my sales it seems like I sell more of these to woman. Probably because the handles are smaller diameter. The General L-Rod would be my choice for an all-around dowsing rod. I like the weight and balance fo the rods and they have nylon bushings built into the handles. For the more experienced dowser, I would probably recommend the adjustable L-Rod. With the adjustable rod, you can adjust the length of the pointer, which in turn changes how sensitive the pointer swings. The Adjustable L-Rod can also be taken apart for portability. If you travel the Pocket L-Rod would be the best bet. They work well and fit easily in a pocket or purse.

Should I buy 8" rods or 12" ones?

I have seen dowsing rods from 4 inches to 3 feet. The standard is around 12 to 16 inches. All my rods have 12 inch pointers because they are the general standard. So why do I offer 8 inch rods? Because I have gotten several requests for the 8" rods from dowsers who dowse for ghosts, spirits, and different forms of healing.

Which works better copper L-rods or brass ones?

A dowser can get the same results from brass or copper. One doesn't have an advantage over the other. Now if a dowser learned on one type of metal rod and thought that was the only type of metal that would work for him/her that would influence the results. The biggest advantage is that they don't rust like other metals. I make the pointers out of brass rather then copper because the brass is more rigid and it is less likely to be damaged.
